7 ACTORS WHO REFUSED TO BE A PART OF SALMAN KHAN'S RACE 3

After Salman Khan's last year blockbuster hit Tiger Zinda Hai, Bhaijaan is all set for his next multi-starrer action-thriller movie Race 3.

The upcoming action flick is already creating a lot of buzz for its cast or relaunching of some actors, illogical dialogues, stunts and its upcoming song written by the one and only Salman Khan. All Bhaijaan fans are very excited for the release but did you know big Bollywood names like Amitabh Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan along with some other actors refused to be a part of the third instalment of the hit franchise Race 3.

Here is the list of 7 actors who too were offered a part in Race 3.

Saif Ali Khan

The first and original star of the thriller franchise Saif Ali Khan refused to play a part in the film because the actor didn't want to play second or parallel lead to Salman Khan. In an interview given to media, he said, I was offered a part but Salman Khan is the best thing to happen to anybody. He's the biggest star in the country." He also added, "I didn't feel a connection myself with the part I was offered. So, I decided to do something else."

 

 

Amitabh Bachchan 

Yes, if Amitabh Bachchan was agreed to be in the film, Race 3 would've been the reunion of Bachchan and Bhaijaan after long 10 years on silver screen. Their last movie together was God Tussi Great Ho released in 2008. According to a leading daily, Big B already has given his October and November dates for the football biopic Jhund." Interestingly, according to Mumbai Mirror, Amitabh Bachchan has even opted out of Jhund last month due to endless delays in the shooting of the film.

 

John Abraham

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, last year, when the casting process was still on John Abraham was in the contention for a role since he was a baddie in Race 2 but Salman Khan didn't want him to be a part of the film due to his personal equation with the Parmanu actor, which is not great.

 

 

Sidharth Malhotra

The part of Saif Ali Khan has been offered to the chocolate boy of Bollywood, Sidharth Malhotra but he too rejected the film.  According to a report in Mid-day, Sidharth refused because he was paired opposite Daisy Shah who is not an A-lister.

 

Aditya Roy Kapur

According to the reports in DNA "The makers feel that Aditya is right for this role because he has never attempted anything like this before. And Aditya has the dates. So it’s a win-win situation for them." However, later Aditya also decided to opt out of the film.

 

Emraan Hashmi

Just like Sidharth, Emraan Hashmi too refused the role because he was to star opposite Daisy Shah. It was also reported he wasn't comfortable playing second fiddle to Salman Khan. The makers has finally roped in Bobby Deol for the part.

 

Vicky Kaushal

The part of Saqib Saleem in the film was previously offered to Raazi actor Vicky Kaushal but But due to dates conflicts, he had to refuse the part.

 

Apart from Salman Khan, Race 3 finally features  Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Freddy Daruwala. What do you think about the final cast of the film? Do share your views in the comment section below.
