Abraam Pandey, who is playing the role of Aayush in the play Welcome Zindagi, says that he is having a wonderful time. The actor feels lucky to have got the chance to learn so much through the project. “It’s new to me as I still don't know how to act. It’s a huge responsibility on me and I am getting to know how to act well as I have to perform with veteran actors like Sudhir Pandey Ji. I would like to thank Sanjay Ji for giving me this role. I think he saw something in me and suggested me to do this play,” he says.Ask him if he is scared to perform live, and he says, “I really don't feel anything. As I act in front of the camera, I do the same in front of the audience as well. So, for me, the camera is the audience and vice versa.”

Abraam says that preparations for the play are in full swing. “We are rehearsing 10-12 hours a day as we have a very limited time as the date is already announced. I do my homework every day as I am playing the character Aayush, the son of Sudhir Ji in the play. I have to remember all my dialogues. Matching my performance with those of veteran actors like Sudhir Ji is a challenge and I have to work very hard,” he says.Talking about his character, Abraam adds, “Ayush is a very sensitive boy and is very close to his dad, I can really relate to him.  The real-life Abraam Pandey is a fun-loving boy, an adventure loving person, I live in my dreams. Aayush, too, is a home-loving person and is very sensitive.”

Meanwhile, the actor was impressed by Sudhir Pandey’s performance and is learning a lot from him. “I was astonished when I saw him performing so smoothly. I wondered how a person can perform so smoothly.  Every day, I learn a new lesson from him. He always guides me whenever I don't understand anything. He is very a good human being. He is like a mentor to me. We share a good bond. He is like a fatherly figure to me and I can go to him without any hesitation,” he says.Ask him who his idol is in the industry and he says, “Akshay Kumar is my first love of acting life. I grew up watching his films. So, I loved his way of acting and improvising any genre,” he says.
