ACB Participants Look Forward To Some Authentic Cricket!

With a promise of real cricket, Dilip Agarwal's ACB (Actors Cricket Bash)  is a talking point in the TV industry. Here is what the participants tell JYOTHI VENKATESH what they are looking up to.

It’s a great feeling to play cricket in its real form. We all have grown up playing cricket passionately but because of our careers, we couldn't continue playing the game. But because of ACB, we are taking out time from our respective schedule and are enjoying the game with our fellow actor friends. We are cherishing the time at the nets and looking forward to the tournament as all of us are pumped up and excited about the first season of ACB.

Abhilash Chaudhary

It makes me happy every time it’s about cricket and when cricket is played in its original style. It’s definitely going to be super fun. Well, I used to play professionally I wanted to be a cricketer earlier but this platform ACB is something very precious. It got me excited with real guards, real cricket and it’s something different. ACB will be a fun definitely with a lot of real cricket among actors. Cricket in ACB is going to be at the next level.

Ajay Mehra 

ACB has a friendly sports environment with skilful players. I see more competition with a sporty spirit. I haven’t experienced any spirit which is against the game in any of the ACB players. We are full of life and we support each other, so it’s amazing.

Saurabbh Roy

It is always a feeling of pride when you enter the cricket ground. I have been playing cricket since my childhood. Cricket is my passion. From the time I have entered this industry, I hardly get time to play or even think about playing cricket. ACB is one such platform which gave us our passion back. We have already started feeling like cricketers. The best part is that all the celebs are preparing for real cricket, it’s not at all about fake entertainment, every action is live. ACB gave us our childhood dream back.

Original is always the best form, whether it’s cricket or anything else. Thanks to ACB, we are getting to play the original form of cricket. The best part is that we have got time for preparation, they have arranged nets for us. They are even giving us practice matches to play. All the TV actors playing in ACB know each other and we play cricket together so we know each other’s strength and weaknesses that is also an interesting thing I feel.
