ALL ABOUT OSCAR NOMINATION 2018 : 'THE SHAPE OF WATER' LEADS THE RACE

'The Academy awards' or 'The Oscars' are back again with the fresh Batch of 2018. Oscar nominations for the 90th Annual awards was announced on Tuesday morning from the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hill, Calif. The 24 category of nominations were revealed by Tiffany Haddish and Andy Serkis. The ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California at 5:00 p.m PST on march 4, 2018. The event will again be hosted by the great Comedian Jimmy Kimmel.

This year 'The Shape of Water' leads with 13 nominations directed by Guillermo del Toro. 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' with 9 and 'Dunkirk' with 8 nominations. Other big category includes movies like 'Call Me By Your Name' 'Darkest Hour' 'Get Out' 'Phantom Thread' 'Lady Bird' and 'The Post.'

People are still in remembrance with the last year chaos, that was due to calling out the wrong winner name for Best Picture and The La La Land production team were stopped in middle of their acceptance speech to inform that Moonlight was the correct winner.
