‘Ek Nirnay Swathahcha Swathahsathi’ In Theatres On The 18th Of January

At the end of the year while taking stock of the good and the bad, we also add something to the New Year that follows, and that is the New Year resolutions and decisions. At a very important juncture in our life, we have to take a decision. Every decision is one that gives a different turn to one’s life. When it is time to take a decision, you must listen only to your heart. This is what the movie ‘Ek Nirnay Swathahcha swathahsathi’ intends to tell us. This movie is being released on the 18^th of January. Actor Shrirang Deshmukh plays the triple role of writer, producer and director.

How does the present generation think? Nobody seems to have given much thought to this. What is it that this generation wants? What are their thoughts? What is their perception of life? How do they look at their life, family and the conditions surrounding them? These are the things that the movie attempts to show through different characters and the decisions they make. The difference in the thought processes between generations is well presented in the film. Even though the subject deals with youth, the views and thoughts of each member of the family are reflected in the movie.

A Swarang production presentation, the movie has famous actors Subodh Bhave, Madhura Velankar-Satam, Vikram Gokhale, Suhas Joshi, Pradeep Velankar, Sharad Ponkshe, Shrirang Deshmukh, Seema Deshmukh, Mangal Kenkre, Mugdha Godbole, Pratibha Date and Swapnali Patil. Along with these veterans a new face Kunjika Kalwint makes her Debut.

Jayantilal Jain, Santosh Paranjpe, Dinesh Oswal, Kishor Jain, Sangeeta Patil and Sulbha Deshmukh are the co-producers of the movie. The lyrics of the movie have been written by Vaibhav Joshi and set to music by Kamlesh Bhadkamkar. Cinematography is by Archana Borhade and art direction is by Eknath Kadam. Editing is by Faizal Mahadik and Imran Mahadik and sound by Vijay Bhope. Costumes are by Geeta Godbole and make-up by Mahesh Barate. Nihira Joshi Deshpande, Hrishikesh Kamerkar, Jaideep Vaidya, Shruti Athavale and Anjali Marathe have sung the songs.

‘Ek Nirnay Swathahcha Swathahsathi’ comments on the decision making ability of a man, accordingly the decisions that he takes and the far reaching consequences of his decisions.
