GURMEET CHOUDHARY'S PREPARATION FOR 'PALTAN'

Veteran Filmmaker JP Dutta, who is majorly known for making war films including the National Award winning film 'Border' is now working on his upcoming project which will also be an another war story. Produced by JP Films and directed by Dutta, Paltan features Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta.  Gurmeet Choudhary who is a well-known TV star and made his Bollywood debut with horror movie Khamoshiyan will also be seen in the movie and has a major role in JP Dutta’s Paltan.

Gurmeet is preparing for his character very seriously. He will be seen doing a soldier act in the war saga and trying his best to understand the character. He is going through many classical soldier related movies to get in the character perfectly. He started watching soldier movies from last two months to give a perfect shot in the movie.

He says, “I wanted to perfect the psyche of my character of an army officer before I reached the location to shoot. I watched war films so that I had a good understanding of what has already been done and what I could do in Paltan. Movies like Atonement, Schindler’s List, Inglourious Basterds, The Reader, Saving Private Ryan and Enemy At The Gates among many others helped me in my prep. I hope it reflects in my performance.”

The film is likely to go on the floors later this year and is scheduled for a Summer 2018 release.
