Tell me something about your music video Wam Bam which you have not only produced but also been part of it as an actor?

It is a fun music album directed by my long time friend Jagrat Desai and produced by me based on his own concept that instantly appealed to me. Jagrat Desai said that it is sad that in India most of us have been taught right from our childhood that sex is a taboo word. Wam Bam is a bold dance music video based on threesome kink starring besides me, also and Priom (TV Actor fame Shrimad Bhagavad of Colors TV & Gandi Baat of Alt Balaji) along with Rapper Wicked Sunny. The sensational chart buster has been created by JD and produced by me.

You are an anchor cum actress cum model cum anchor all rolled into one.

Yes. You can say that. I have learnt dancing as Ganesh Acharya’s student. I have also acted in a film called Vyavastha which has not yet seen the light of the day. I have also anchored several corporate functions. I played the role of a eunuch who is dancing an item number in Vyavastha

What sort of roles are you keen on playing in films?

I can play any and every kind of role in films though frankly speaking, I did not learn acting at all. I would say that I am a director’s actress and am ready to be molded in the way in which the director deems fit. I would like to be clay in the hands of my director.

What prodded you to come forward to make an explosive album like Wam Bam in the first place?

I wanted to see if I can break the taboo, because here needs to be a beginning some time or the other when we have got to take a definite stand on our own without worrying about what the society is going to comment. Wam Bam Thank You Mai an old phrase with which we are all very familiar but it has only been the prerogative of all the boys. What’s the big deal if times have changed and now even the girls can have all the fun?

You have shed your inhibitions in front of the camera. To what extent are you ready to expose?

I feel that sensuality should be explored. It is indeed very ironical that in India, where on one side we are one who introduced Kamasutra, on the other side we are treating sex as a taboo. I want to inhabit a world where being sexual is not a problem. Truly, it’s a bold subject and I frankly didn’t expect others to feature in it.

As an actor, I am ready to shed not only my clothes but also my inhibitions. Why should I shy away or have second thoughts because I am not hurting anyone or murdering someone. I am only doing something that helps me understand myself and explore myself better. Isn’t it?

When did you meet Jagrat Desai first?

Jagrat Desai and I met sixteen years ago when it was the era of the remixes. We had even planned to come out with a remix album but it did not materialize at all. I am glad that at last I have been able to come up with this music video which has been directed by Jagrat Desai.

Why did it take such a long time for you to come up with your own music video?

The reason is that I took a 4 to 5 year gap from the industry. I have not only anchored programmes, but also acted in a couple of films which have not yet been released. I spent all my time in concentrating on dance which is my forte. I love Bollywood dancing. I am still learning kathak and aerial dancing.

What exactly is the role that you are playing in the music album Wam Bam?

I play a hot shot girl who is able to convince a couple to a three some with her. Mind you, I do not force them or compel them at all and ask them to do out of their own free will consensually. I do not drug them or misuse their faith in me in any way. Let me clarify that the video isn’t just about sex or shots of cleavage and does not talk of random drugs because we do not believe in it. The video has a story of its own too and also the people in the video look good and stunning.

Has the video been sent for censoring? Do you think it will be easily passed by the Censors considering it has some steamy sequences in it?

The video is not made for the national television but for the you tube , because right from the beginning we were aware of the fact that it is designed for the masses  who have no qualms to see uncensored and titillating bold skin show.

In how many days did you shoot the video and where?

We shot the video in a period of just a day and a half in around 27 hours but I would not like to divulge where we shot the video

in Weren’t you scared as an actor that you will be saddled with a negative image after the release of the music video Wam Bam?

I play the Wam Bam in the music video. The negative image is only a sort of perception that you have. I know for a fact that I may also be subjected to trolls too in asocial media but I feel that it is high time that we grew up.

Who are your favorite actors in Bollywood?

Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Kangana Ranaut are my favorite actors in Bollywood today. Kangana is by herself a hero who can pull off a film on her own slender shoulders today at the box office.

Who are the directors in your wish list?

I do not have any particular filmmaker in my wish list, because I am of the opinion that every director has his own inimitable way of shooting his film. I can understand Jagrat Desai’s creativity but frankly do not have any one favorite director till date.

Is it true that you have launched Cwaty  the world’s first ever virtual animal influencer for animal welfare?

Yes. We have launched the world’s first ever virtual animal influential for animal welfare. It is a cartoon character. I plan to dance with the character and the proceeds will be remitted to animal welfare through the NGOs for which I am working.

What next, after Wam Bam?

We have plans to come up with Wam Bam as a web series initially and later on as a movie in multiple languages. We are also planning to make edutainment and awareness oriented projects in the near future.
