The celebrities who attended the event were Puneet Isaar, Music Composer Nikhil Kamath, Yogesh Lakhani, Sunil Pal,Ehsaan Qureshi, Gufi Paintal,Ganesh Acharya, Nasir,Shammi Chabbda,Rajesh Metharamani Rupa Dutta actress spoke to the Press and mentioned that her Academy will also give an opportunity to people who come from economically backward families and who cannot afford the high fees of the acting classes in various parts of India. Rupa Dutta is accomplished actress herself who shot to fame after playing the main lead in the serial Jai MaaVaishnodevi, has acted in various feature films in Hindi, Bengali, Tv Serials etc.Rupa Dutta's academy is open to people who who cannot find openings in Bollywood. Rupa Dutta in her motivational speech said that if she coming from a simple middle class family in Kolkatta can make it successfully as an actress it is possible for any one with determination to make it as an actor actress in Bollywood. Rupa started acting in Bengali films at the young age of ten and is still working.Rupa's Acting Academy will train children, women, adults and all people interested in acting. Rupa also runs an NGO called the soul foundation which helps uplift women and give them employment.
