Indian Idol 10 Contestant Salman Ali Lends His Voice For Chandragupta Maurya’s Character Track

After roping in Tarun Khanna (Chanakya), Sourabh Raj Jain (Dhananand) and Vikas Verma (Seleucus) in Sony TV’s magnum opus show Porus, producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary has roped in child artist Kartikeya Malviya who will be seen in and as, ‘Chandragupta Maurya’. The culmination of ‘Porus’ will mark the beginning of a new chapter which will highlight the making of and the rise of the brave king Chandragupta Maurya.  Kartikeya will be seen playing the character of a 15 year old Chandragupta Maurya. To bring out the essence of the character, Indian Idol 10’s loved singer Salman Ali sang the character track of Chandragupta Maurya. Salman said, “It's a true honor for me to be associated with a show like Chandragupta Maurya. I am the first contestant on a reality show who has got this amazing opportunity to record for the character track of such a magnificent show which will narrate the epic story of Chandragupta Maurya. I whole heartedly thank Indian Idol and Sony Television for presenting me with such a marvelous opportunity to showcase my singing talent”.
