ISHAAN AND JANHVI'S FILM DHADAK TO PAY TRIBUTE TO SRIDEVI

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor's debut film Dhadak is the much-awaited film of the year. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and has a lot of buzz owing to its promising trailer and the sparkling chemistry between newbies. The recently released title track of the film is appreciated and loved by the audience and is among the chartbusters.

According to a report in The Times of India, the makers have decided to dedicate the film to Janhvi's mother Sridevi. The report claims that both Shashank Khaitan and Karan Johar who is producing the film have agreed upon this. Any official announcement is yet to be made.

Sridevi, breathed her last on February 24 in a Dubai hotel due to accidental drowning. The actress had gone to Dubai to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah.

The incidence left Janhvi baffled as the actress was close to her mother. This is how Janhvi reacted to her mother's demise. In an interview, she said, working on Dhadak helped her cope up with her mother's loss.

Dhadak is slated to release on 20 July.
