The On The Floor hitmaker Jennifer Lopez was once asked by a director to take her top off. Yes, you read that right, Lopez has spoken about her own experience of sexual harassment and said that she was once asked by a filmmaker to remove her shirt and expose her breasts.
In an interview for the April issue of the Harper’s Bazaar magazine Shades Of Blue actress revealed, “I haven’t been abused in the way some women have. But have I been told by a director to take off my shirt and show my boobs? Yes, I have,” JLo shared. “But did I do it? No, I did not.”
The 48-year-old star also said, “When I did speak up, I was terrified. I remember my heart beating out of my chest, thinking, ‘What did I do? This man is hiring me! It was one of my first movies.”
JLo said. “But in my mind, I knew the behaviour wasn’t right. It could have gone either way for me. But I think ultimately the Bronx in me was like, ‘Nah, we’re not having it.'”
In Bollywood also many actresses have opened about such incidents and sexual harassment. Recently, on Neha Dhupia’s Color Infinity show Vogue Bff, the PadMan actress Radhika Apte also told revealed that a big south superstar misbehaved with her on the sets of her first film.
