KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN: I WAS TOLD THAT I WON'T GET FILMS AFTER MARRIAGE, I CHANGED THAT

Kareena Kapoor Khan is riding high on the success of her last film Veere Di Wedding. The actress is currently aiming to strike a perfect balance between films and personal life. The actress recently talked about how she will be doing a film every year and not rush into signing several projects as she wants to spend some quality time with Taimur Ali Khan.

While interacting with Mid-day, Kareena agreed that she definitely has a project in the line, but there is time for it to go on floors as she wants to spend some time with Taimur. "There is a project, of course, but I will let the announcements be made before I speak about it."

Kareena added that she will be doing one film at a time. When she was asked how she is changing the rule of parenting in the industry, Kareena added; "My husband isn't a businessman who comes home at 6 pm. He is an actor too, and between us, we must balance our time out for Taimur. We have decided we'll do one film each — I did Veere Di Wedding, now he is doing Navdeep's film. After he finishes his commitments by November, I will start my next. So, I can kick it off in January."

Kareena said that she now wants to strike a balance between ambition and satisfaction. She concluded; "My family, my son, my husband — they are the most important things for me. I love being a mother as much as I love my work. I want to ace that balancing act and be an example for others. I was told that I won't get films after marriage. I changed that. Even if this turns out to be a mistake, I'm okay with it. I have no regrets about the path I have chosen".

Kareena is currently enjoying a holiday in London with Saif Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan.
