KRITI SANON TAKES HORSE RIDING LESSONS FOR PANIPAT

After impressing everyone with her performance in movie Bareilly ki Barfi, now the actress is a part of Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming project which is a historical period drama 'Panipat'. Along with Kriti, the movie features Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor. The film is based on The Third Battle of Panipat that took place in 1761 between Afghan warriors against Maratha forces and concluded in a decisive Afghan victory.

In the film, Arjun plays the role of Maratha leader Sadashivrao Bhau while Sanjay Dutt is portraying Ahmad Shah Durrani.

Talking about the leading lady, Kriti is working really hard for her character. The actress took to her official social media handle and shared a photograph of herself along with a horse and captioned it: “So good to be back with this beauty! Horse riding sessions start again with Suresh Sir and Amateur Riders Club. This time for Panipat.”

Some days back, Kriti’s co-star Arjun Kapoor also shared a picture of him along with Panipat director Ashutosh Gowariker,

Panipat will be produced by Sunita Gowariker under home banner AGPPL in association with Vision World. Art director Nitin Desai will recreate the Shaniwar Wada for the film at ND Studios and National Award-winning designer Neeta Lulla will create the costumes for the film.

The film is slated to release on December 6, 2019.
