Pioneer Bhojpuri actor Brijesh Tripathi passed away

Famous actor Brijesh Tripathi, who has done hundreds of films in many languages including Hindi and Bhojpuri, died of a heart attack at his residence in Kandivali, Mumbai. He was about 72 years old and had been active in the film industry for the last 46 years. Brijesh Tripathi shared the screen with many big stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Rajinikanth. Talking about Bhojpuri films, he had seen and experienced both the eras of Bhojpuri film industry very closely. He has worked with many people in Bhojpuri films including Sujit Kumar, Kunal Singh, Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Dinesh Lal Nirahua, Pawan Singh, and Khesari Lal Yadav. There has been a wave of mourning in the entire industry due to his sudden demise. On his demise, film actor and Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan says - "We had done about 100 films with Brijesh Tripathi ji. His demise is a big loss for the Bhojpuri film industry."

His loved ones are heartbroken 

Film publicist Sanjay Bhushan Patiala is deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Brijesh Tripathi, he says - "Brijesh Tripathi ji was one of our most special people, he had encouraged us from the initial days. His demise marks the end of an era of the Bhojpuri film industry. Ghazipur MP and Bhojpuri film superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav 'Nirahua' says - "I am shocked to hear the news. He was a senior Bhojpuri actor." This is said by many stars who are hurt by his demise. Brijesh ji was a good friend of film journalists and PROs associated with the Bhojpuri industry. Uday Bhagat, Shashikant Singh, Samarjeet, Ranjan Singh... everyone is sad about the departure of Brijesh Tripathi. Filmmakers like Braj Bhushan, Kumar Vikal, Maya Yadav, etc. have sent their condolences. Sanjay Bhushan Patiala says with sadness - "There were many occasions when he supported me. He was like a guide for the new film journalists and PROs."
