Marathi super star swapnil joshi in judge’s seat in chala hava yeu dya (chyd)

ChalaHawaYeuDya, the popular Marathi comedy show is all set to have more fun as leading actor and chocolate hero Swapnil Joshi will now be part of it. The actor will be in the judge’s grand chair in the front of the popular stage of the show, which is popular among Marathi speaking audiences. He will be in the role of the commentator and co-star of the set of comedians who are amongst the best actors in Marathi stage and part of ChalaHawaYeuDya for the last six years.

The comedy show is presenting a new form of episodes during the Diwali festival. The residents of Thukaratwadi, the village depicted in one of the forms of various one-act plays presented on the show, are living in an age-old palace. The palace belonged to Maharaja Pradip Sing alias Bachchu Joshi who ruled more than 500 years ago. The residents of Thukaratwadi have messed up with the structure inviting wrath of the soul of the late king.

His soul appears in persons and captures the residents of Thukaratwadi. As a punishment for their misdeeds, he asks them to entertain him.The soul of the king is played by none other than Swapnil Joshi, a leading actor in Marathi and Hindi film industry. Joshi will participate in the game of entertainment with the popular actors of ChalaHawaYeuDya. This is going to keep the audience in a split.

The new form of the show conceptualized especially for Diwali is being shot at a farm house, where all the actors have been staying for seven days of Diwali. It is going to be a treat for the Marathi audiences.Swapnil Joshi is familiar for the audiences of the ChalaHawaYeuDya as he has been appearing on the show regularly as a celebrity guest. This time he has become part of the show and will occupy the grand chair in front of the state. His presence will help to up the bar of the comedy on the popular show. A different environment is set to take place on ChalaHavaYeuDya.

“I am not new to the Chala Hava Yeu Dya team. I have been part of the show on several occasions as a celebrity guest. Besides it, I was a judge on the comedy show ‘Fu Bai Fu’, from where most of the comedians from ChalaHavaYeuDyashot to fame. Actors like Bhau Kadam, Kushal Badrike, Shreya Bugade were participants of the Fu Bai Fu, while Nilesh Sable anchored it. The actors are one of the finest sets of comedy actors in the industry today. I am a big fan of these actors.

In my new responsibility I would get the opportunity to enjoy them, perform sitting in front of them, appreciate their performances, pull their legs and get some in exchange. I would also be able to bring the celebrities coming on the show to the comfort level,” he said. Swapnil said that it would be a Win-Win situation for him. “Besides di-stressing myself and enjoying the show first hand, I would also get an opportunity to get connected with my fans. Thus, it would be a double advantage for me. All because of this, I have been eagerly looking forward to being part of this show,” he added.
