“My dream-passion is to act in movies made by top Bollywood directors,” says ‘Miss India Worldwide-2019’ beauty-queen Tanishq Sharma

Chaitanya Padukone: Amidst  pretty tough  competition from charming Indian-origin and NRI  beauty-queens from over 30 foreign countries , stunning model-trained actress-danseuse Tanishq Sharma won the coveted title-sash and was crowned  ‘Miss India Worldwide-2019’ beauty-queen ( where she represented country Oman). The 28^th year event held in Mumbai recently, was convened by MIW Founder–Chairman Dharmatma Saran and Neelam Saran. The tantalizing Tanishq  was born in a multi-ethnic family in India but later she moved to Oman where she also pursued her second hobby of baking pastries.  Her father  Purnanand Sharma belongs to Uttarakhand, from where she did her schooling academics as well.

Resilient and highly-expressive by nature, Tanishq initially faced rejection at her debut beauty contest, but she later went thru proper training in Pune and learnt it all. Which possibly explains why in the past, she has bagged a series of  six  beauty-queen titles including Miss India Diva, NDA-Queen , Miss Tiara, and Miss Universe India 2016 Finalist. Fluent in Hindi-Urdu,  tall, svelte Tanishq has been trained and groomed into the craft of acting-dancing  by noted ‘acting-guru’ Madhumati  (retro films—famous  former actress-danseuse) who has also trained star-actors like Akshay Kumar and Chunky Pandey.  “This latest MIW-19 global Award means a lot to me because it proves my staunch Indian cultural connect combined with  my photogenic looks, figure and talent. In fact I even won the ‘Miss Bollywood Diva’ title, at the same Worldwide pageant .

Actually, I frankly declared on stage that I consider myself perfectly imperfect, I don’t pretend to be what I am not, ” shrugs outspoken Tanishq who is now based in Mumbai.  While  her wish-list includes top directors like Sunny Deol, Madhur Bhandarkar , Shoojit Sircar, Mahesh Bhatt  Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Imtiaz Ali, Amar Kaushik and  Anand L.Rai ,  her dream-co-actor has always been Emraan Hashmi .  Justifying her choice, Tanishq gushes, “ Hottie hero Emran has that classy X-factor, have never seen him working on his body nor on his dialogues and is a naturally cool performer,” she signs off.
