Off screen bonding for On-screen Chemistry

Practice makes a man perfect! This is a saying we all have heard time and again and is a saying that applied in our daily life as well. Actors often get so engrossed in their on-screen avatar that they go to any extent to justify their roles be it getting into their onscreen character or building a chemistry.

Perfection is a key to success and our actors truly believe in even behind the scenes. The same is the case with Ashmita and Krishna who play the role of Setu and Rohit in Sony Entertainment Television’s Dil Hi Toh Hain. Setu and Rohit who happen to be best friends of Palak and Ritwik in show express their feeling for each other but aren’t able take it forward.  To build up a strong chemistry on-screen the duo often spends a lot of time together and share a great bond in real life. The duos are best friends who help each other at every step making their bond better on-screen as well.

Ashimita said,” To build a chemistry there has to be an equal give and take which once understood by the actors is easy to showcase on screen as it positively does wonders in front of the camera. Though, having a good conversation off screen does help in understanding the other person, but that is not the only thing we need to build an on-screen chemistry. A lot of factors like the mood of the sequence, atmosphere on set and bonds help enhance the presence on screen.”.
