ONE REPUBLIC TO PARTY WITH SRK, DEEPIKA PADUKONE AND OTHER BOLLYWOOD STARS

Pop sensation Ed Sheeran visited India for a one-day concert in Mumbai last year. It's not just him who visited India but there are also others in the list. International music sensation Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Wiz Khalifa had already surprised their Indian fans and now its OneRepublic who will be soon coming to India. OneRepublic is an American pop rock band which has five members in the team, Ryan Tedder, Zack Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle and Eddie Fisher. It is known for many hit songs like Apologize, Secrets, Good Life and Counting Stars.

OneRepublic will land in the country three days ahead of their Mumbai gig on April 21. As it will be their first time they are very much excited and eager to explore the country. According to a leading daily, Ryan Tedder, founder of OneRepublic said, "We've wanted to visit India for years. Besides getting a chance to perform for our Indian fans, we are also excited about exploring your beautiful country."

Organisers are planning sightseeing itinerary for them as the band members have already expressed that they want to visit a film set. They even want to get indulge in local shopping. The organisers will throw a bash in their honour, and a guest list that includes Bollywood stars has already been drawn up.

A source revealed to a leading daily, " The cities haven't been finalised yet, but they want to check out some historical sites. They will go shopping in Colaba and try desi food in Bandra. The party will take place a day or two before the gig. Several B-Town celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, are likely to attend the do.

Explaining how they managed to get the celebrated band on board, Cyrus Gorimar, director, Opium Events And Production (organisers), says, "We started the talks with their management more than six months ago. Our pre-registrations have seen a phenomenal response with more than 10,000 registrations received in just 24 hours. We are anticipating close to 15,000 fans for the event."

It seems like this is going to be one hell of a ride!
