RICHA CHADHA AND ADITI RAO HYADRI TO PORTRAY PARO AND CHADRAMUKHI ON SCREEN

Bollywood's one of the most versatile actresses Richa Chadha is now all set to play Dev ki Paro on screen.  Yes, the actor will be next seen in another contemporary adaptation of popular Saratchandra Chattopadhyay's classic Devdas, titled Daasdev.

The film is directed by Sudhir Mishra and features Richa Chadha as Paro, Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandramukhi and Rahul Bhat as Daasdev. It follows a path contrary to the plot of the classic novel but is a fiercely political film that talks about the protagonist's addiction to power.

Talking about her film Richa shred her excitement and told media, "I am excited that the film is releasing soon. It’s an interesting adaptation. I loved working with Sudhir Mishra. He has mentored so many filmmakers and directed some films that made me want to be an actor when I was growing up."

On the work front, the actress is busy in promoting her next film Fukrey Returns. The film also stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh which is slated to release on December 8.
