Shwaas Fame Actor Sandeep Kulkarni Turns Producer With Dombivli Returns

At last producer the Oscar entry fame Shwaas actor Sandeep Kulkarni who had turned a producer with the psychological Marathi film Dombivali Returns in which Rajeshwari Sachdev plays his wife, can be able to heave a sigh of relief because his film will now see the light of the day on February 22 this year, almost five years after the project was launched. What is interesting to note is the fact that the film looks as topical today as it was when it was launched because it has a subject which is ahead of times. Incidentally it is for the first time that Sandeep Kulkarni, who had earlier also acted in the hit film Dombivali Fast  and Rajeshwari Sachdev have been teamed together in a film in Marathi though Rajeshwari has acted in as many as six Marathi films before. The film has been written and directed by debutant Mahendra Teredesai and has four songs; music for these songs is by Shailendra Barve. Songs are sung by singers Sonu Kakkar, Pravin Kunvar, Prasannajit Kosambi, Vivek Naik. The lyrics are by the Chandrashekhar Sanekar and Mukund Sonawane. The highlight of the music launch of his film was the presence of the veteran music maestro Taufiq Qureshi at the music launch at the Citylight Cinema in Mahim the other day. The film also stars besides Sandeep Kulkarni and Rajeshwari Sachdev, Hrishikesh Joshi, D Santosh, Amol Parashar, Siya Patil, Sunil Joshi, South starlet Pooja Kasekar and Shailesh Pitambare in the main roles
