Painful Separation: Tripti Agarwal Reflects on Losing Father's Touch

Tripti Aggarwal is one of those stars who, whether it is small or big screen or OTT platform, leaves her identity wherever she is. These days she is seen in the role of MLA's wife Sangeeta Patil in the SAB TV serial 'Pushpa Impossible'. Earlier, she was seen on the small screen in 'Choti Sarrdaarni', 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. She also looked completely different in the role of Ojha Mai on the OTT platform show Gandi Baat'. Her last film on the big screen was 'Freddy' (Karthik Aryan, Alaya F), in which she played the lively role of Alaya F's mother. We meet Tripti Aggarwal at her house, where she looks a little sad sitting on the sofa in front of her mother Manjula Joshi. Her father passed away just a month ago.

Tripti's Father passed away a month ago

"It is very sad for an actress when her father's loving hand is removed from her head." She says, lifting the layer of seriousness. "My father was my guru, my role model. He always encouraged me. He was a lively person. Even when he (T.D. Joshi) was very ill, and hospitalized, before leaving for the last journey, seeing me dejected, he made me listen to him by playing the mouth organ. It is very important for an artist, especially a female artist, to have a father's hand on his head."

"I have become a bit apathetic these days." She comes to work matters. 'Pushpa Impossible' is on air (daily at 9.30 PM on SAB TV). The director of this serial of Hats Off Production producer JD Majethia is Pradeep Yadav and the casting director is Kuldeep Singh Chauhan. "People have liked my Sangeeta Patil role in it."

Tripti is a versatile actor

Because of her fair complexion, Tripti has been offered the role of a foreign woman a lot. She smiles - "Initially it used to be like this, everyone wanted to make me a fair lady, but not now. Now, it is said that I am proficient in every kind of role. The image of the screen keeps changing. The role of Ojha Mai (After Gandii Baat), there were so many offers for the role of Tantrik." I also got a lot of offers for advertisements when I did an ad with Bachchan Sahab. All this and more is part of show business. People run to whatever is going on. And I always believe in doing something new.”

Apart from a great actor Tripti is a great writer as well

Tripti is also involved in social work. She organizes programs for children at every festival. She prepares programs for Holi, Diwali, and Christmas and she can do all this keeping in mind her shooting schedule. "It is my nature to be involved in social activities. I enjoy it."

Tripti Aggarwal is a very good writer. She writes poems. She says- "Apart from acting, my hobby is also writing. After my father's departure, my mind was a bit disturbed. Mother has come with me for support. Then there will be solitude and my poems will be there."
