The movie is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and is co-produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi. Veere di Wedding is Kareena's comeback movie after after her pregnancy and she is definitely stealing the show. The movie is very beautifully written by Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri. STORY The story revolves around four best friends who are school time buddies and are partner-in-crime. In the middle of the life where all the four girls were facing their own issues of life, one of the friend is about to get married and that's when the story starts to take its peak. Marriage calls out for a great preparation and definitely friend's reunion. All the other three is very much excited about their Veere's wedding but who knows how things are going to take it's twists and turns. The movie is very well written which can make every girl relate to it. Common things like all the girls eating golgappa at roadside, the difference of South Delhi and West Delhi culture, Aunties doing back-biting about others all these are very accurately added in the movie. Now when the first part of the movie is full of excitement and energy, the second part of the movie is full of emotions which clearly defines that every person in life is dealing with their own issues. There's a scene in the movie which tells us that when there is a lot of confusion and complications going, sometimes its better to not overthink and go out for a vacation. But after a lot of high's and low's, the movie's end will definitely make you believe in your friendship. CAST AND CHARACTER Talking about the strong ladies, Kareena Kapoor as Kalindi Puri who is dealing with her own bad family experience, Sonam Kapoor as Avni Sharmi who is a divorce lawyer and is facing issues getting a boyfriend in life, Swara Bhaskar as Shakshi Soni who is a spoilt child of a rich parent and in the middle of getting divorced and lastly it's Shikha Talsania as Meera Sood who is married and has a cute child but have an awful sex life. Sumeet Vyas as Rishabh Malhotra who is kalindi's best friend and the guy who is going to marry her. Apart from all these, there is an epic character of Bhandari which is played by Vishwas Kini whose full name is not yet revealed in the movie. The character of Bhandari will definitely make you laugh time to time. PERFORMANCE All the four ladies were looking very beautiful for the entire time but Kareena was definitely stealing the show. There were parts when 'gaalis' were used in the movie, many bold scenes were used, alcohol, gay relationship, all was the part of the movie but things were kept very much balanced by the writer so that it may not look vulgar. Kareena like always very well made the use of her facial expressions in the movie, Sonam as a lawyer and on the other hand played the character of the frustrated girl very well. Shikha was also complimenting to her character very well but Swara nailed her part. She played the character of the spoilt alcoholic girl very well with her gaalis at every situation. DIRECTION AND EDITING Shashanka Ghosh is the director who managed to keep the balance of every situation very well. A perfect use of wit and humour is used in the movie to not make it look very dramatic. Flashback were used in the movie and a voice over narration can be heard to decode things properly in the movie. Proper depiction of South Delhi and west Delhi can be seen. There's a scene when the girl gang go for a vacation to Phuket that's also very well shown. Perfect timing of emotions can be seen by all the characters and not just the four leading ladies but Sumeet Vyas also managed very well to show his talent of acting quite well. MUSIC All the songs in the movie is great. Veere di Wedding is having a total of eight songs which is of every type. Tareefan is already a hit. Other than that, Bhangra ta Sajda, Veere, Laaj Sharam are some of the tracks which can be heard again and again. Every movies track list is incomplete without Arijits's song and same with this. Aa jao na is a melodious song which is definitely going to make you go emotional while listening. Apart from all these, many of the times background music is used according to the situation in the movie. In a Nutshell, the movie very well talked about friendship and all the issues which a common girl can face in her life. Either be it family issues, Alcohol addiction, sex or anything but if you have great friends in your life you can handle anything. For me it's worth watching a 4/5 for the movie.
