OneRepublic is a 2002  American pop rock band consisting of lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarist Zach Filkins , guitarist Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher. The lead single of that album, “Apologize”, was released on April 30, 2006, on Myspace and received some recognition there, becoming number one on the Myspace charts.

The band have landed in India and received a warm welcome at the Mumbai airport. OneRepublic will perform at NSCI Dome in Mumbai on April 21.

After Pharrell Williams, the band members are very much excited about their visit in India and have planned to take out time from their work trip and go on a ‘desi’ tour. As per reports, for sightseeing their itinerary includes a visit to Elephanta Caves, Gateway Of India and Victoria Terminus. A meeting with the dabbawalas is also planned, and the band will also be given a ride in an auto-rickshaw and a bus

On Friday, the band is expected to visit Kala Ghoda and Colaba for a food-cum-shopping spree. They might also check out places like Chetna Restaurant, Jehangir Art Gallery, Banganga Tank, Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Rajabhai Clock Tower, Churchgate Station, Mani Bhavan and Hanging Gardens.

On Saturday, before their performance, the band will be visiting places like Mount Mary Church and Haji Ali Dargah. Their meals will also be customised to add a desi touch. Included will be dishes like dal makhani, dum aloo, mutton/chicken biryani, gobi paratha, rajma chawal, butter chicken, palak paneer, chole bhature, mutton rogan josh and more.
