She has also currently seen in the film web series The Trials, for which she is busy in full swing promoting. While lakhs of fans eagerly wait to watch Kajol act in films and web shows, her own kids Nysa and Yug are not at all excited about her work. Meanwhile, the actress has given the reason behind this.

During an interview, Kajol revealed that she tried to make her children see her work, but they were very clear that they did not want to do so. During an interview, Kajol recalled an incident when her aunt told her that she does not watch her films as she is a very good actress. Her aunt further added that, if she was a bad actress, she would tolerate her crying on screen but since she acts very well, she cannot see her crying. The actress said that it was like a huge slap to her and she has so confused that she could only say 'Thank you, Aunty!'

On the work front, Kajal will appear in the role of a lawyer in 'The Trial', the Hindi adaptation of 'The Good Wife'. This courtroom drama series will be released on July 14 on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar, consisting of eight episodes.
