Game of Thrones is back and so is winter. Ever since season 1 premiered the fans have been warned about The Great War and that winter was coming. Winter has finally arrived and the fans (which basically comprises the entire world) are overwhelmed, the excitement is mind-boggling and the episode further contributed to it.
Ed Sheeran made a cameo and was trolled to an extent that he had to quit twitter, such is the capacity of GOT. While the episode began with a bang where Arya Stark took her much-awaited revenge and struck two names off her list, something the fans had been waiting for since season 3, it did not maintain a similar consistency throughout because the makers are clearly setting up the base for the coming season. Daenerys—The Mother Of Dragon is back at her home (finally) which is House of Targareyn and she's sitting on the dragon stone and has possession of the most powerful weapon, the Dragon glass, which is enough to conquer the white walkers.
It comes as no surprise that the show shattered its previous records. The Variety states that the episode drew 16.1 million views which are an incredible increase from last year's premiere. It was also the most tweeted episode of all times and we'll give you a glimpse of how the Twitterati completely took over the world.
