Women First Social Network Bumble Comes To India !
With the mission to empower young women worldwide and to give Indian woman a non-judgmental, digital platform of safety and confidence as they connect for work, friendship and for love, Bumble, the leading women-first social networking platform with over 44 million users worldwide, now launches in India.

Bumble recently announced its partnership with award-winning global icon, philanthropist and entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra, who joins Bumble Founder & CEO, Whitney Wolfe Herd in bringing the leading global connection platform  to India.

After an inspiring evening at Delhi's Bikaner House, Wolfe Herd and Chopra earlier today hosted an intimate dinner.

The high profile dinner in Mumbai was packed with women achievers from the fields of cinema, fashion, business, media and politics.

Says Bumble Founder & CEO, Whitney Wolfe Herd, “We are incredibly grateful and inspired to have the opportunity to launch Bumble -a social network to build new connections, made by women, to empower everyone, today in India with our dear friend and partner Priyanka Chopra. Since day one, the mission has been to empower women to be equal in their relationships: love, friendship and business. On bumble, our community connects with accountability, kindness and empowerment to recalibrate archaic gender inequity".

Says Global Icon, Priyanka Chopra ,”Whitney and I both stand for the same philosophies, we both want to see a change in the world. We want to empower our fellow sisters in the way we have been empowered. Bumble is a virtual world that allows women to explore limitless possibilities and provides safe connections in the most cohesive way”.

Bumble is the social network by women, for everyone. Here, women lead the way and celebrate equality, kindness and accountability through safe, meaningful connections and the power of making the first move.

Bumble has prioritized creating a safe platform for female users in India, with specific features focused on adding a vital layer of protection to Bumble’s safety standards, which already include photo verification and a profile moderation team of thousands  worldwide.

Bumble has also localized the user experience with versions of the app available in both Hinglish and Hindi for iOS and Android. The app is free and available to download in the App Store and Google Play.
