Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Celebrates Biggest Family Reunion With Rishton Ka Utsav

Star Plus’ longest running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has remained a fan favourite for its endearing family drama. Time and again, the show beautifully captured the significance of family values and bonds. Yet again, it showcases the essence of family relationships with Kartik and Naira organising a unique festival, Rishton Ka Utsav, which brings together all generations of the family members for the biggest reunion. The entire family of the show through all these years coming together and meeting each other calls for a celebration. The grand fete will be a weeklong special event starting from 26^th of November.

The star cast of the show including Amardeep Jha, Vinita Malik, Sanjeev Seth and many more, who were loved by the viewers will make a return with Rishton Ka Utsav. Moreover, the occasion marks the entry of the much loved character Gayu who will be portrayed by a new lead.

Mohsin Khan who plays the lead role of Kartik revealed, “The festivities of Rishton Ka Utsav are going to be memorable as it will bring together more than 40 artists under one roof! The reunion is going to be a celebration of the sacred values of relationships and family ties. In today’s time, due to our busy and hectic lives we don’t get a chance to spend time with the entire family which includes our distant relatives, making this occasion even more relevant and significant.”

Amardeep Jha who played the role Shankari Tai, commented “I am very excited to be back on the show and it is incredible to see all generations of the family members come together for the biggest reunion. Shankar Tai is one of my favourite characters and is really close to my heart. It feels extremely nostalgic to be on the sets as there are so many memories associated with the show. It is special to share screen space with the entire family once again."

Further, Shivangi Joshi, who plays Naira, expressed her excitement “After a long time the entire family members will reunite for a larger than life Rishton Ka Utsav. It is going to be an unforgettable affair and a joyous celebration where the family members relive old memories and embrace new ones.”
