21st PIFF starts accepting entries for Marathi Film Competition Section By Team Bollyy 23 Sep 2022 | Updated On 23 Sep 2022 10:25 IST in Latest Trending Cine-Ma New Update Follow Us Share The 21st Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) organized by the Pune Film Foundation in association with Government of Maharashtra has started accepting entries for its Marathi Films competition section. Both censored and uncensored Marathi films of 2022 can apply for the competition. The 21st PIFF will be held in Pune from January 12-19, 2023. The film producers will have to submit 2 DVDs or Vimeo link password while applying for the competition, the deadline for which is 30 November, 2022 before 6 PM. Film producers will have to comply with rules like the film’s title and banner of the film should be registered with Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal, the film must have been completed between January 1 and December, 31, 2022 and no post-production work should be left, furnish lab or studio certificate confirming that the film is made in 2022 and its DCP is ready. According to the Director, Pune International Film Festival Dr Jabbar Patil, this certificate will be considered only for the 21st Pune International Film Festival. The rules laid down by the PIFF and the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal will be applicable on all entries.
