Manish Malhotra started his career as a model, while studying at the Elphinstone College. Failure as a model led him to clothes, costumes and art. He launched his label in 2005. The designer works mostly with Hindi cinema actresses. In 2014, his label marked a turnover of over INR 1 Billion. Manish Malhotra tried his luck in Bollywood for the first time by designing costumes for Juhi Chawla for the movie Swarg. His hard work paid off when he won a Filmfare Costume Award for styling Urmila Matondkar in Rangeela. Since then, his career in the film industry took off as he went on to work for some of the biggest names in the industry.
'Reverie - Manish Malhotra' was his first mainstream designing couture store. He then launched his couture label MANISH MALHOTRA and now he is a big name in Bollywood and the reason behind many celebrities gorgeous outfit.
