5 Bollywood Actors Who Were A Playboy Then, But Later Became A One Lady Man

Bollywood actors over the years have given a peek into their private hedonism whose delicious tales adorn magazine covers and tabloid front pages. We've seen it all, their frequent affairs, heartbreaks and the ‘we are not dating' facade! They say a man may wander his heart that is further accelerated by lust and superficial beauty for a lot of women. But once that one woman is acquainted in your life your vicious wanderings seem to cease.    We can't blame them for being that way, as the hormonal rush in the young days is hard to patronize. Dev Anand

In this age of stars kissing but not telling, having relationships but not commenting on them, and putting a holier-than-thou spin on even the most concupiscent scandals, but we can vouch for one hand-kissing, posh-speaking, beret-doffing romantic, at ease with kings and beauty queens, with corporate czars and saucy 16-year-olds, a man who would go weak in the knees when he would see a beautiful girl—and be happy to admit to it - the evergreen Dev Anand Ji.

He has been flooring a lot of women with his charm and had an intriguing past of lady loves. He first destined his heart towards the then heartthrob singer and actress Suraiya but her grandmother didn’t approve of him. Dev Anand had once himself admitted: "I wanted to marry her, but could not. Cried on my brother's shoulder and then I forgot the chapter to proceed further." Tell you what? Suraiya remained unmarried for her entire life then.

Post –Suraiya, the heartbroken Dev Anand found his solace in the new bubbly girl and his co-star Kalpana Kartik who became Mrs Anand three years later after they met. But in between there are many affairs Dev Anand would want to omit, like his sweet-bitter love series with Zeenat Aman, his almost-affair with a Czech interpreter that enraged his wife, actor Kalpana Kartik (a.k.a. Mona Singha); an on-off relationship with an Irish student at Cambridge while she was working as a cleaner in his Swiss hotel; his sharing a room with Marlon Brando's assistant in France; and his unusual talent for casting nubile nymphets, who almost always seem to assault him in places as varied as New York and London, make  a  compelling reading.

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt's life has always been a roller coaster. From drug abuse to weapon possession and jail term, Sanjay Dutt has never abstained from the limelight for absurd reasons. One of them being his famous love affairs and may-care playboy attitude.

Sanjay Dutt first reserved his heart for Tina Munim, who was his childhood friend and his co-star in his debut movie Rocky. Unfortunately, this love-affair didn't sustain for long due to Sanjay Dutt's drinking habits.

Soon after Tina, Sanjay once again found love with Richa Sharma and the couple got married in 1987 and became parents to their beautiful daughter Trishala. But ,life had ominous plans, Richa was diagnosed with a lethal brain tumour and took her last breath at New York in 1996.

The Dhak-Dhak girl was no exception from women spellbound by Sanjay's charm. The rumoured couples were a hot topic of B-town in the 1990s. But the rumoured affair cooled down after the actor's TADA arrest in 1993.

Having gone through tough phase, both personally and professionally, he found an escape in Lisa but their story was short lived and after a brief period of being together they separated.

The playboy finally settled his heart for his now wife Manyata Dutt and became a one-man woman. Rumour has it that Sanjay met Manyata when he was romantically linked with Nadia Durrani. Manyata and Sanjay fell in love and after two years of courtship, the actor married for the third time on February 7, 2008. And after two years of marriage on October 21, 2010, the couple welcomed their twins, Shahraan and Iqra Dutt.

Akshay Kumar

 Khiladi Akshay Kumar was a Khiladi in  true sense. To manage 3 women at once is sure a Khiladi thing. His Casanova image pitched and paced with his affair with Ayesha Jhulka, his co-star in the film Khiladi.

Soon, he was involved with the ravishingly beautiful Raveena Tondon, who claimed that the both of them got secretly engaged and Akshay apparently got engaged with two other girls at the same time. The budding love with Raveena didn't last long and the young Akshay slipped his heart for Shilpa Shetty. Never too late, Shilpa found that Akshay was two-timing with her and best friend Twinkle Khanna and parted ways with him. Rumour has it, she even asked Rekha to stay away from him during their relationship.

Akshay finally found his solace in Twinkle Khanna and got married to her in a super confidential wedding in 2001. They are now happy parents of Nitara and Aarav.

Ranbir Kapoor

Just as his enigmatic smile, his life has tad bit been the same way- Enigmatic and full of controversies.  Though in a reverie now with alleged girlfriend Iulia Vantur, Salman had a tough time dealing with his past affairs.

Salman's first lady love was Ashok Kumar's maternal granddaughter Shaheen. Salman was smitten with Shaheen when he was only 19.

Sangeeta Bijlani and Salman Khan dated back in the 1980s and had a proximate case, their wedding cards were distributed but Sangita called it off. Salman then, found Somy Ali a perfect eye candy but soon Somy parted ways with Salman due to his drinking habits.

The most controversial and passionate love affair Salman had was with Aihwarya Rai. The stories of their blossoming love flooded the B-town during the making of ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. The love story took an ugly turn as they ended up in 2002 due to Salman's abusive and obsessive behaviour. Allegedly, he could never get over Aishwarya and that's when Sneha Ullal, Aishwarya's look alike entered the picture and they dated quite for a few days.

Salman is said to be the godfather of many Bollywood beauties one of the major name being Katrina Kaif. The couple never made their affair public but ended up on a brackish note. Another look-alike of his ex (Katrina) Zarine Khan was mired with rumours about dating Salman.
