52nd International Film Festival started from today, OTT platform will also be involved

India's 52nd International Film Festival i.e. IFFI is going to start from today i.e. 20th November.

At the same time, this festival will be held in Goa which will run till November 28. About 624 films from 95 countries have entries for this festival.

This is the first international event to be held in Goa since the Corona pandemic. The International Film Festival is being jointly organized by the Government of Goa and the Directorate of Film Festivals functioning under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Let us tell you that every year the best films from India and around the world are screened during the film festival.

With this, OTT platforms are going to participate for the first time in the festival, for which big OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee5, Voot and Sony Liv have been invited.

At the same time, veteran actress Hema Malini and lyricist Prasoon Joshi, considered Bollywood's dream girl, will be honored with the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award.

Along with this, well-known Hollywood film directors Istvan Szabo and Martin Scorsese will also be honored with the Satyajit Ray LifeTime Achievement Award.
