69th National Film Awards ceremony: The country's prestigious 'National Film Awards Ceremony' is going to be held in the capital Delhi. Actor Allu Arjun will be honored with the Best Actor award for the Telugu film 'Pushpa' at the 69th National Film Awards ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on Tuesday, October 17.
Whereas the jury chose to jointly give the Best Actress award to Alia Bhatt for the Hindi film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and Kriti Sanon for the Hindi film 'Mimi'.
Waheeda Rahman will be awarded the Phalke Award

Veteran actress Waheeda Rahman will be honored with the 53rd Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year. She will be the 8th woman to receive this honor in the film world.
Waheeda Rahman has worked in about 100 films in her entire career. Waheeda made her debut with the Telugu film Rozulu Marai. In her career, Waheeda also received the Best Actress Award for the film Shera Aur Reshma. Apart from this, Waheeda has also been awarded Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan. Waheeda has done CID, Dos Saal Baad, Guide, Prem Pujari, Kala Bazaar, Pyaasa, Kagaz Ke Phool, Chaudvin Ka Chand, Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam, Reshma Aur Shera, Mujhe Jeene Do, Neel Kamal, Khamoshi, Ram Aur Shyam, Man, Has worked in many memorable films like Patthar Ke Sanam, Teesri Kasam, Kabhi Kabhie, Trishul, Adalat, Namak Halal, Chandni, Rang De Basanti, Delhi-6 and Vishwaroopam. Best award honor to the best artists

At the ceremony, the film Rocketry directed by R Madhavan will receive the Best Film award, and Nikhil Mahajan will be honored for the Marathi film Godavari as the Best Director.
The award for Best Popular Film will be given to the film 'RRR'.
The film on national integration 'The Kashmir Files' will be awarded the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film. The jury has given the Best Supporting Actress award to the film's actress Pallavi Joshi. Whereas the Best Supporting Actor award will be given to Pankaj Tripathi for the film ‘Mimi’.

Among some other major awards, the Best Hindi Film award will be given to 'Sardar Udham Singh', Best Playback Singer to Shreya Ghosal for the film 'Iravin' and Best Playback Singer to Kaal Bhairav for the film 'RRR'.
'Anunaad - The Resonance' will be awarded the best film on social issues, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the best editing of his film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and like 'Nacho Nacho' of his film 'RRR' which took him to the Oscars. Choreographer Prem Rakshit will be awarded for dance.
The event will be lit up by artists like Waheeda Rahman, Pankaj Tripathi, R Madhavan, Shreya Ghoshal, Allu Arjun, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kriti Sanon, and Alia Bhatt.
