Journalism relates to gathering and disseminating news. Journalism as we know today has evolved over several hundred years as a result of technological developments as well as a reflection of change in the society.
Good Journalistic coverage provides the first draft of history by enabling the public to understand the meaning of events as they unfold.
Documentary making is a part of Journalism which is a way to present facts, figures and information in an entertaining manner

Marwah Studios invites documentaries every year to be adjudged by a Jury to be screened and awarded in three major segments of upto 10 minutes, 30 minutes and upto 60 minutes category.
The sole purpose of inviting documentaries is to encourage the young enthusiastic film makers and also giving a platform to the established ones to highlight their work.
