A Boy Next Door Turned Into Someone He Never Thought Of! - Amol Parashar Exclusive Interview
New Update

In this era of smart audience who constantly craves for fresh and qualitative entertainment, Amol Parashar caters genuine acting,  good looks plus good content all in a single platter. This handsome and super talented actor has shown so much of his skills in the very initial stage of his career. Be it TVF’s Tripling or films like Rocket Singh or Traffic Signal, Amol has always hit the nail on the head.

1.From a mechanical engineer to an entertainer or should I say from no girl zone to totally surrounded by beauties. How was the journey so far?

Actually, there was no gender issue, because the ratio was 65:1, and I never thought about my journey like this (laughing), I didn’t become an actor to surround myself with girls.

2. You have worked in Hindi, Marathi and Malayalam films. Are you exploring  yourself or in future you will settle for one.

No it’s not like that, Many times different - different work also becomes monotonous and I don’t want to do that, Thanks to the digital space its giving us an opportunity to try new things.

3. As an IITian were you living the dream of your parents?

See, in India this is an automatic process, if the child is good in Maths ‘Beta Engineering kar Lo’.  If a Child is good in Biology ‘Beta Doctor Ban Jao’ same happened with me, till then I never dreamt of being an actor, I realized it when I participated in a play and rest is all history,.

4. The mass says, to make a hit web series the ingredients are… adult scenes, abusive words/language and ofcourse alcohol etc. What’s your take on this?

I will not deny that completely but I always give an example to people, the kind of work I’ve done till now which is somehow successful was not dependent upon these ingredients, maybe there are few scenes which are related to above question because the story demanded that but they were not injected forcefully in the story.

5. What are the things you keep in mind before taking a project?

It’s a simple question; I don’t know why people made it the question of IIT!
I read the script, if I like it& the director then I take it, the last question if required I ask is who are my co-stars?

6. What do you prefer? A bad script and a good director or a good script and a bad director?

(laughs), That’s a tricky question! Good director can make a simple story interesting. So I will go with the first option. This may vary in my future.

7. Which future project are you looking forward to?

Definitely TVF Tripling 2 and also my film with Balaji Motion Pictures where my co-star is Konkana Sen Sharma

8. In an interview you said that 'Chitvan' is the younger version of yours. So are there any changes in you now?

Things which are slightly abnormal for the world are normal for Chitvan and I guess some part of Chitvan is still in me. Yes, I started planning unlike Chitvan, as the bar of self - expectation raised high.
