Tumse Na Ho Payega is the story of today's youth, the film revolves around Gaurav (Ishwak Singh) and his friends, who are troubled with their jobs, and the film reflects the problems of today's youth. Story of Gaurav, and will the society's saying “Tumse Na ho Payega” become true for Gaurav? In the film, Mahima Makwana, Gaurav Pandey, Gurpreet Saini, and Karan Jotwani play the roles of Ishwak Singh's friends.

Question- Your film Tumse Na Ho Payega got a very good response from the fans, what is the reaction of your family regarding the film?

Mahima- The most common response I have received from everywhere is that those who do 9 to 5 jobs should be able to relate to the film, everyone is saying that this is our story, within a week the film collected Rs 4.2 million views, this film has been given so much love since the beginning, so I am happy about that, and I hope more people watch it and love it, and share how they liked this film.

Question- How was your journey with this film and how was your experience?

Mahima- I enjoyed a lot, this film is based on Varun Grover's book and the script of this film has been written by Nitish Sir, there is a lot of young energy in the film, I enjoyed doing this film a lot, it is a story of a common man. Is.

We did a workshop for 2 months, in which all we had to do was to look comfortable in front of the camera because in the film we all are childhood friends. We shot the entire film in Mumbai, so we went to many cafes and hotels, and we also ate different types of food during this time, I had a lot of fun during the shooting of this film.

I had not done any such project recently that had so much fun, enjoyment, and at the same time a positive message, so it was a good experience for me.

Question- When the script of this film came to you, how much time did it take for you to decide to do this film?

Mahima- I did not get the offer, I got an audition call from Mukesh Chabda's team, I gave the audition, and at that time I did not know much about the script, and in the film, director Abhishek felt that I could play a character of an urban girl., I have never played such a character, so I am very happy.

The film is not only about a boy but also about the relationships associated with him. We have heard such a story but this one shows you the story with a new and fresh perspective. It feels great when you are working with good people, I am very happy that I got the opportunity to be a part of such a project.

Question- You have played many characters, so how challenging was the character for you, and how much are you able to relate to it?

Mahima – My character Devika in this film is a social media celebrity manager, she is from Mumbai, she is very confident, and she gives very clear-cut answers.

This was challenging for me because to date I have only played the character of a small-town girl, so convincing people that I am an urban girl was a bit challenging in terms of the look and the confidence of the character. Director Abhishek helped me a lot in creating the character, we talked a lot together and did workshops, and I had a lot of fun doing all this.

Question- How much do you relate to this character?

Mahima- I relate to this to a great extent, I wanted to do such a character for a long time, Devika's character is very confident, and she has a sense of fashion, so Devika's character was somehow a challenge for me. For example, if Devika doesn't like something, she says it directly. I too am like that. One thing I took from Devika's character is her confidence and her positive outlook on life.

Question- What did you learn from this character?

Mahima- Devika's character tells us that we do not do anything for ourselves, we do it for family, society, or for show, and at the end of the film Devika has a dialogue “Relationship should be like a startup, where both the partner shares should be equal

And I also feel that this thing should be there in a relationship because friendship is the basis of any relationship.

The second thing I took from Devika's character is that you should not listen to the world, and do whatever your heart dictates, although it is easy to say but difficult to do in the end things will work out.

Question: In your TV-to-film journey, there would have been many people who would have told you that ‘Tumse Na ho Payega’, would you like to say something about that?

Mahima- Yes, I have met many people like this but I don't take it negatively from them, I show them by doing instead of speaking, and many times in life you tell yourself like this but you have to trust yourself and believe in yourself. Because in the end, everything falls into place.

Question- People also liked your film ‘Antim’ very much, would you like to share something about your experience with it?

Mahima- The experience of the final was tremendous, it was like a dream come true for me, and who does not want to make his debut with Salman Khan?

We all grew up watching them, so working with them, meeting them, believing in your work, and giving you a chance, so when people who have so much experience show faith in you that in itself is a great experience. It's a huge compliment.

Although there were some scenes with me only at the end of the film, I got to learn a lot from them.

Question- When you met Salman for the first time, were you curious or nervous?

Mahima- I met him for the first time on the sets of Bigg Boss. When I went to promote my show 'Shubharambh', both I and my co-actor were very nervous.

Only after a year, I got a call from his office for the film, his faith in me is the biggest thing for me.

Question- As people believe that Salman is a very angry person, you have worked with him, so how is Salman behind the scenes?

Mahima- I have not had much interaction with him, I just know that he believed in me and gave me a chance, but I know that he takes care of the people around him, and takes everyone together, He is still very hard-working.

Question- The trailer of his film Tiger 3 was launched, how did you like it?

Mahima- I don't have any other word for this, just 'wow', I will be eagerly waiting for the film.

Question- As it is everyone's dream to work with Khan since you have worked with one Khan if you get a chance to work with Shahrukh, would you like to go?

Mahima- What do you think… I have a dream to work with him too, I hope it comes true one day, I am a big fan of Shahrukh.

Question- Bigg Boss 17 is coming, so any of your friends are going, or if you get a chance, would you like to go?

Mahima- Right now there is a lot of work, regarding OTT and films, so right now there is no such plan for Bigg Boss and I am not such a fan of Bigg Boss.

Question- How do you see this change that has taken place regarding OTT and films?

Mahima- After COVID-19, there was a time when people were not leaving their homes, they had become habituated to watch it on their TV screens, but now the time has come when Jawan and Pathan are being released on the big screen. And doing well.

I am very happy that both things are going well, because of OTT many good actors, directors, and writers have got work, so both should go well.

Question- What kind of projects are you going to be seen in next?

Mahima- You will know with time, for now watch 'Tumse Na Ho Payega' on Disney + Hotstar, I hope you will like this film.
