A Sneak Peek Into Sonam Kapoor And Anand Ahuja’s La Holiday

Staying true to their personalities, Sonam Kapoor and her hubby Anand Ahuja they chose to explore the unconventional side of L.A. with a visit to the iconic Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The museum was an absolute hit with Sonam given her passion for all things art. From the Rauschenberg exhibit and the famous neon instillation lighting to the Renaissance Art Mosaic, Sonam & Anand were left mesmerized with the works on display. The couple spent hours going through the multi-level art haven and followed it up with an al fresco meal at the very popular Salazar where they ran into popular music talent of Indian-origin, Vidya Vox. Part of L.A.’s thriving outdoor dining scene, Salazar is helmed by acclaimed Chef Esdras Ochoa who is also the man behind the recently launched, celebrity haunt in Mumbai, Sancho’s. Salazar, with its treasure chest of unique, harmonious flavors, has carved a niche for itself amongst the multitude of Mexican restaurants dotting L.A. Day two in L.A. began with the couple setting off to explore Warner Bros. Studio Tour, Hollywood along with Vidya.

Sonam & Anand were like kids in a candy store as they took a trip down memory lane at the F.R.I.E.N.D.S set which included the original Central Perk couch! They followed this up with a personalized tour around the studios where their guide shared some of Hollywood’s most interesting anecdotes. They also had a chance to see, up close, existing film sets and numerous cinematic memorabilia, each with its own unique story. The icing on the cake for Anand was the opportunity to sit on an actual Batmobile and do a virtual ride through Gotham city. Sonam had her Harry Potter fangirl moment when she rode Harry’s broom and soared through the skies above Hogwarts! Still on an adrenaline high after their time at Warner Bros. Studio Tour, Hollywood, the couple made a quick stop at The Last Bookstore. A hardcore book lover at heart, Sonam took to The Last Bookstore the minute she set foot in it. An iconic bookstore and one of L.A.’s most instagrammed locations, the venue is known for its disarrayed beauty and charm. As they wrapped up their time in L.A. Sonam & Anand had truly and completely fallen in love with the city and its people.
