There are some rules in the world which are certainly made to broken thats the way of the world and it has not changed for centuries and I don't think it can change in the centuries to come - Ali Peter John
I can give you hundreds of examples from history , but let me tell you and satisfy myself by giving you one recent example which can or must shake you up if you are human .
Honouring the great legend who have died during the year that has passed is a part of the Oscars every year and the legend are supposed to be from all countries of the world and this section is called " The Memorium " section in which all the names of those who have died are mentioned as a tribute .
This year too all the names of the great dead were mentioned , but for some strange reason the name of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar was not taken at all .
And a few weeks later , the Grammy Awards were also presented and once again the name of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar was dropped from this prestigious section of the awards.
It must be mentioned that A R Rehman a Grammy Award winner and his son musician A R Ameen were present at the awards ceremony , but neither the father and son nor any one in the audience or the media said anything about the dropping of the name of Lata Mangeshkar .
Certainly , it cannot be a mistake in both places . When there can be issues raised about every little thing today , isn't humiliating the greatest singer of all time an issue ?
Some days later , Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated two singers of Indian origin , Falguni Shah and Ricky Kej for their contribution to music and for winning the Grammy.
But , the PM who called himself a dear friend of Lata Mangeshkar did not have a word to say about her name being overlooked at the Oscars and the Grammys.
I knew that such things would happen , but I didn't know they would happen so soon and in such a shocking way.
JAI LATA KI . JAI MATA DI .
