AAMIR KHAN TO STAR IN AND CO-PRODUCE ASTRONAUT RAKESH SHARMA’S BIOPIC

In good news for Aamir Khan fans, the 51-year-old Dangal actor is all set to star in his second biopic—based on India’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma. The film, titled Salute, will also be co-produced under the actor’s banner (AKP). According to media reports, Aamir has big plans for the film and is involved in every aspect, including casting.
Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian to go into space in 1984. The biopic will be directed by Mahesh Mathai, who has also made films like Bhopal Express and Broken Threads.
Aamir is currently shooting for Thugs of Hindostan in Malta with Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
