Aarya Season 3: Aarya is bringing three times more thrill, action, and suspense

Aarya is an Indian crime-thriller drama television series airing on Disney+Hotstar. The series is about Aarya, an independent woman who wants to protect her family and joins a mafia gang to avenge her husband's murder. It happens. Recently, the show has been nominated for the International Emmy Awards for Best Drama Series. It stars Sushmita Sen in the lead role and is based on the Dutch drama series Penoza. Two seasons of the show have come and both have been liked a lot by the Indian audience, the wait for the third season of the show is going to end on 3rd November. Apart from Sushmita Sen, the show stars Sikandar Kher, Vikas Kumar, Indraneil Sen Gupta, and Ila Arun will also be seen in season 3.

When Sushmita was asked this question, in the Aarya series, we saw different shades of your character with a different style in every scene, you worked so effortlessly, and everyone liked both seasons, so much. How do you do this effortlessly? On this, Sushmita said, “My second inning which came after my eight-year career break, and whatever I am doing today, all the credit for it goes to this Fantastic Team. Making a show like this where women empowerment is depicted, having such a beautiful vision, an amazing team, and a cast and crew is what makes it successful. This season our DOP is a woman, and you can see in the visuals how beautifully Aarya's emotions and Aarya have been captured, that too was done by a woman. You like what you see in Aarya because Aarya is all those women. Aarya is in every woman, and it is a great pleasure for me to play her on screen.”

When Sushmita was asked that everyone was eagerly waiting for season 3 to arrive, just after season 2 how do you feel about it? Sushmita said, “This is the best season.”

When Ila Arun ji was asked, you are a new character in the world of Aarya, whenever I have seen you on screen, it has been fun, and looking at the trailer, it seems that you are going to give a tough competition as Rani Maa. Tell us something about your character Rani Maa and what else is going to create a stir in the world of Aarya?

To this Sushmita said, “A lot”.

On this question, Ila Arun ji says, “It is better if I don't speak, it is very difficult to kill a lioness by going into her den and Ram Madhvani has entrusted this responsibility to me. And all this happened in Rajasthan, so obviously how I was asked to work, by my directors Amit, Shraddha, and especially Ram, Aarya is a mother in the show, so I am also a mother, if she has a past then I also have a past. If he wants to rule then I also don't want to leave the kingdom. This is a fight between two women, you will have to see it there.”

When Sikandar, who is playing the character of Daulat in the show, was asked that, Sikandar, as seen in the first and second seasons, Daulat is always ready to protect Aarya and her family, what is going to happen with the arrival of the character of Rani Maa?  On this, Sikandar says, “He is always around her, maybe he wants to leave her, but he is not able to leave her. The show is very beautiful, the good thing is that we are in the third season, and all the people in the show have become family. It is a lot of fun working with them, I am really enjoying getting to look into Sushmita's eyes (in a humorous tone) and I also get paid for this work. It is a very good and big thing for me to be a part of such a series. It was great working with Ira ji, whom we all have known since childhood.”

Vikas Kumar, playing the role of ACP Khan, said about the third season of the show, “This is Season 3, so everything is triple, and it is also coming on 3rd November, in Season 2 where ACP Khan was doing some work so he was busy, this season he is chasing behind Aarya with everything he has because, in the last season, he had just asked Aarya that "heard that you had become a don", and in this season Aarya did become a don so everything is going to be tripled in this.”

When Sushmita was asked what difference she sees between the last two seasons' Aarya and this season's Aarya, Sushmita said, "So much has happened in Aarya's life, that in the last two seasons, she has been able to gather everything, to save what she could, now she has nothing to lose in Season 3. And a woman becomes dangerous when she has nothing left to lose or save. In season 2, everyone had complaints about why Aarya did not become a don, this season Aarya is a don and dangerous too.”

When Ila was asked about the chemistry between her and Sushmita, Sushmita said, “She is like a mother.” On this, Ila Ji said, “Our relationship is very long and very old, and our chemistry is very good, we had a great time on the set, Sushmita is dear to me with all my heart.”

Looking at the trailer of Season 3, it seems that the lioness inside Aarya has awakened, so will the lioness hunt or will she become the prey herself? When Sushmita was asked this question, Sushmita said, "After watching the trailer, Looks like she will be a hunt. Aarya is also a mother but she has understood that if you let go of riding the lion, the lion will eat you, so she has agreed to ride the lion.”

Sikandar said about his character, “As long as there is Aarya, Daulat will be there.”

Sushmita said that in 2024, it will be my 30 years in the industry I was just eighteen years old, I was made to stand on the stage, and I got recognized by my identity, and even then my people stood with me and where I am today, I am here only because of their support. The same industry which I left in my prime time for eight years, they accepted me so lovingly even after eight years, because my audience is amazing, and as long as they are with me, no one can harm me.

Talking about her second innings, Sushmita says, “When the second innings started, I became a newcomer and now I have a lot to do, I have to do a bold romance, Have to do a good action-thriller, and play a dangerous villain like no one has done before, there is a long list to do.”

Regarding her character Aarya, Sushmita said, “Sometimes even a mother has to become a monster for her children.”

Vikas has played the role of a policeman in both his shows CID and Aarya, so when he was asked which show he enjoyed playing the character of a policeman more, Vikas said, “I have enjoyed both, CID is a popular show, its character was very straight forward, the character in Aarya has many layers, background, history, emotions which keep changing with time. It is so much fun working with such great people.”
