The Bombay Talkies Studios which was formed in 1934 and became the pillar of Indian cinema by producing 115 films has been revived by Aazaad. He has written, directed, and edited a soul-stirring, patriotic and hard – hitting film RASHTRAPUTRA. For the first time in the annals of Indian film history, a film has been made in 26 languages.The Hindi version of RASHTRAPUTRA has been released on 2nd of NOV in 2200 screens worldwide. It was also distributed by Bombay Talkies. The film depicts the life and times of Chandrashekhar Azad (played by Aazaad). The forgotten hero is revived as the hero who is still relevant as the one who fights corruption and wipes out the evil forces. Aazaad has also written, composed and rendered the immortal song mantra of the Indian revolutionaries –Vande Mataram for the film which is also one of the major highlights. The film is one of the biggest inspirations for today’s generation, mainly the youth. The other actors who have performed major roles in the film are Jamie Lever, Aryan Vaid, Rakesh Bedi, Achint Kaur, Master Akshay, Alpesh Dhakan, Mohsin Khan, Atul Srivastava, Vivek Vaswani, Nasir Johny Walker, Deep Raj Rana, Abhay Bhargav, Raza Murad, Manish Chaudhary and Zakir Husain. The veteran Music Composer Bappi Lahiri has composed three songs which are rendered by Mika Singh, Palak Muchhal, Ash King, Ram Shankar and Surabhi Singh. Lyrics have been penned by Goswami Tulsidas, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and Sandeep Nath. The film is produced and processed by The Bombay Talkies Studios. The Sanskrit version of the film titled RASHTRAPUTRAH will be releasing shortly.
