Ace filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt spills the beans about the song Gali Mein Aaj Chaand Nikla’ on Superstar Singer 2

With exceptional singing performances put forward by the little dynamites , Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown kids singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer 2’ has got the audience glues to their television screens.

The forthcoming episodes of the show will showcases the extraordinary talent of the contestants a.k.a ‘Best Bache Ever’ and promises to be a melodious and visual treat for the viewers.

Adding char chand to the stage of Superstar Singer 2 this Sunday for the ‘Bhatt special’ episode will be Bollywood’s ace filmmakers – Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt, who will be seen promoting their upcoming movie ‘Judaa Hoke Bhi’.

Not only will the duo be seen enjoying the impeccable performances by the contestants on popular songs from their films, they will also share some interesting trivia’s.

One of the contestants, Aryananda R Babu from Calicut, Kerala along with captain Arunita Kanjilal, will be seen giving a remarkable performance on the songs ‘Tere Dar par sanam’ and ‘Gali Mein Aaj Chaand Nikla’ leaving everybody mesmerized.

Left in awe of Aryananda’s singing, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt will shower her with endless praises and will go on to share the reason behind the song ‘Gali Mein Aaj Chaand Nikla’.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt spills the beans on the song, saying, "I feel, time is the biggest critic. This song was written by Anand Bakshi and the music was composed by M M Kreem Sahab, was first released in 1998.

I can still recall how to explain the situation to them, we cited examples from our own lives, such as the fact that our father used to come to the house very late and then when they used to come home our mom had an expression which would say things like "Gali Mein Aaj Chand nikla." People began to understand it in this way, and Bakshi Sahab informed me, "Yeh hi toh mukhda hai."

Tum aaye toh aaya muhje yaad gali mein aaj chand nikla.’ We always think these thoughts or words are too complicated, but these words come out of the heart and reaches everybody’s heart.

And now if a song that was composed in 1998 that is still being heard, then it means that music always has a heart-to-heart connection that has also reached these kids."
