"Act Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karungi" Says Sneha Wagh By Team Bollyy 15 Feb 2019 | Updated On 15 Feb 2019 11:46 IST in TV News New Update Follow Us Share For years, actors have been known to undergo rigorous training before they start shooting for a challenging role and in the recent past, they have been forthcoming about performing their own stunts rather than using a body double, regardless of the dangers that might be involved. One such example is of actress Sneha Wagh who plays the role of Mura on Sony Entertainment Television's historical show, Chandragupta Maurya. Sneha recently shot for one such sequence wherein she was suspended mid-air for 10+ hours. The sequence is from an upcoming track where Dhananand finds out that his treasure has been stolen and he blames Mura for the theft. He then publically punishes Mura where he orders for her hands to be bound by rope and to be suspended mid-air. This scene was shot for 2 days and Sneha braved the harsh sun amongst other hurdles for the same. The scene was very difficult and it left her hands bruised red. When asked about the experience, she mentioned, “It was a very difficult sequence where you will see me hanging mid-air with my hands tied above my head. According to the story Dhanananda is punishing Mura who he suspects to have carried out a theft. Production asked me to use a body double for this as they planned on shooting this sequence for 2 days. But I took it up as a challenge and told them I'll do it and I think it took more than 10 hours for completion. It’s very difficult to hang in the air with your hands tied to a pole. After completing the sequence everyone on the sets congratulated me for completing the shoot successfully without using a double. I would give in anything required and possible in my capacity for my work.” It's quite impressive that the actress took upon a difficult challenge by choosing to perform the stunt by herself. More power to her for giving in her all for the love of her craft. Tune in to watch this sequence on Chandragupta Maurya at 8:00 pm every Mon-Fri, only on Sony Entertainment Television.
