Actor –Producer Rahul Bhuchar Of Felicity Theatre Plays Karna In Mahabharat

Rahul Bhuchar, Producer and MD, Felicity Theatre who is playing the eponymous role of Karna in the play Mahabharat which was essayed by Pankaj Dheer in the original TV serial Mahbaharat directed by B.R. Chopra and his son Ravi Chopra thirty one years ago and telecast on Doordarshan, says “Recreating Mahabharata with some of the finest talents from cinema and television has truly been a fascinating journey. We have set out to make a blockbuster production with magnificent sets and a storyline that will keep the audiences enthralled all through the performance.” While Nitesh Bharadwaj who had shot to fame with his portrayal of Lord Krishna in the originl TV serial Mahabharat was present at the 3 pm show of the play at St Andres Auditorium, Mrs Renu Chopra, wife of the late Ravi Chopra and daughter in law of the late B R Chopra graced the play in the evening show with her presence and brought tears in the eyes of the audiences when she said that she still feels that each and everyone who had acted in their TV serial was part of her family even now, including Puneet Issar, Surinder Pal and Gufi Paintal.
