Actor Rajan Verma Wins His Legal Case Against The Builders Sheth Creators For Breach Of Trust

The well known actor cum producer Rajan Verma a.k.a Veeraj Kumar Verma has won after a prolonged battle, his case against the builders Transcon Sheth and Auris Serenity of Sheth Creators and after a long series of hearings in Maharashtra, MAHARERA had at last issued orders to Auris Serenity 3 and their partners besides issuing warrants to the collector to seize the builder’s property and pay to Rajan Verma, all his dues, because of the non execution of its earlier order. MAHARERA had ordered on February 25 to pay Rs 1.54 cr without interest to actor Rajan Verma as the promoter Sheth Creators had failed to refund the amount to the actor even after five months has elapsed.

“I had booked the flat way back in 2014 and the builders were supposed to hand over the property to me in December 2019 but after the RERA commenced, the builders denied to hand over it before December 2019 though I have already paid almost 70 per cent of the amount due and the builders have not yet given me the registered agreement, as a result of which I was forced to approach MAHARERA for the refund of my amount including the taxes with the help of my authorized representative Mr Uday Kasliwal. Sheth Creators have till today not bothered to refund my amount in full including the taxes paid by me without interest, though more than five months have elapsed since the orders were issued. The big question which needs an answer immediately is how can the poor home buyer trust builders like this is? A well known developer doing a breach of trust is very shameful to the industry in general”, signs off Rajan Verma aka Veeraj Kumar Verma.
