Actress Neetu Chandra Lends Support To Cancer Patients

Actress/ National awarded Producer Neetu Chandra has been a youth icon for Bihar, she is the 1st sportsgirl to represent India from Bihar, also 1st producer to get a National award for Bihar ever in the history of Cinema - She always stands for the pride of Bihar and her compassion is well known. On Monday she got an opportunity to combine both.

The actress who is a proud Bihari was the Special Guest at a ceremony at the Tata Memorial Hospital where an Mou was signed between the Bihar Govt and the Cancer institute to have a special Aid dedicated to patients from Bihar. An amount of 1lac. Would be given after the disease is detected.

Neetu adds, "It's a wonderful initiative and I am so blessed to have witness this collaboration. I am delighted that 70% to 80% aid will be provided to patients from Bihar under the annual income of 2.5 lacs.  Good health is a blessing and my heart breaks when I see people helpless and unable to afford medical attention."

Neetu was present and interacted with the doctors and officials. She also met with several patients at the institute. The actress has pledged to support in whichever way possible. It's very Heart touching because Neetu also lost her dad to Cancer 6 years back.
