Actress Raveena Tandon honors Aruna Goenka with the Times Business Award North 2023"

Recently actress 'Padma Shri' Raveena Tandon and BJP leader Chaudhary Kanwar Singh Tanwar attended the prestigious Times Business Awards North-2023 held at The Grand Hotel, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. At the event, Aruna Goenka was honored with the Times Business Award North 2023 for her immense contribution towards the society. The award was presented to Aruna Goenka by actress Raveena Tandon.

Aruna Goenka, it says that I consider myself as God's postman, I forward what he gives, she has been feeding around 200-300 people daily for years without any help from the government or anyone else . There is a daily langar arrangement at his house, under which morning breakfast, lunch and evening tea langar are organized at Kanchanshree, a grand farmhouse in Vasant Kunj. Aruna Goenka, the owner of this farmhouse, who is known as 'Mataji' by most of the people here, runs this homely langar without any outside or government help. Organic food and free pulses, vegetables, rice are distributed to the poor in the langar.
