Seldom has Bollywood or any Indian filmmaker has gone to the gutters of urban India or makeshift toilets of rural India to throw light on this rotten aspect of society. Filmmaker Aditya Om has done just that. He has recently completed his feature film titled Excreta (Maila) ‘on the topic of manual scavenging.
