Afreen Alvi shares her birthday plans

Actress Afreen Alvi, who has been part of Naagin 4 and Shubh Laabh, turned a year older today. The actress says that she will be having low-key celebrations this year.

“Actually, I have’t plan anything this year. I just want a normal day without any expectations. I just want to celebrate low-key this year, no big stuff. I will not be inviting people, and will just be with myself,” she says.

Talking about birthday rituals, she says, “I feed people and I tell my mom to feed people on my behalf as well. I give money around wherever I see the needy people. I love to do that.”

Ask her what has been her most memorable birthday, and she says, “My most memorable birthday was last to last year when I went to Delhi and celebrated with my family. And the best part is that My birthday and that of my younger brother is on the same day. It was good to celebrate with him, with all the family.”

She adds, “I remember I was I guess 11 or 12 years old, and my mom and my father gave us our birthday money. We actually took a picture together and I didn’t buy any gift for him but he framed that picture in a nice photo frame and he gave it to me. And that was really special to me because whatever he got from Mom and dad, from that money he bought that. I felt attached and that was cute.”

The actress is focussing on growing in her career and is not one to be bothered by age. “Of course age is just a number. You just have to look happy and glowing and keep yourself healthy. Now my goal is I want to do another show, and maybe a web series on an OTT platform. I want to build my career more seriously.”
