Afsoss ! Some Top Bollywood Stars , Even If They Wish, Cannot Vote !

Some of the top Bollywood celeb-stars spared time to walk briskly towards the polling booths and cast their ‘precious votes’ just like an ‘aam aadmi’ during Monday’s Assembly polls in Mumbai.  Those who were spotted  yesterday entering and exiting the election voting booths included Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Rishi Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya-Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene,  Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor ( who carted her adorable little son Taimur along) and of course Govinda ( an ex-M.P.)  However there are several other top Bollywood celebs who are unable to cast their votes, even if they wish to . Since they  do ‘not’ have an Indian citizenship status.. Interestingly, some of these ‘Not-Eligible-To-Vote’ stars are known for their patriotic undercurrent movies and social awareness missions These are some of the leading Hindi movie stars who unfortunately cannot support vote-wise any candidates of their choice:

Alia Bhatt: Among the most spontaneous brilliant actresses in the current lot, the petite, pretty ‘Raazi’ girl reportedly hold a British passport  Her actress-mother Soni Razdan is of British (UK) origin.

Katrina Kaif: Excellent charismatic actress and an agile dancing diva, Katrina holds a British (UK)  citizen passport and was born in Hong Kong. Starting with the fiasco ‘Boom’ Hindi movie, her career later got a big boom-boost  with ardent backing from ‘buddy-mentor’  Salman Khan and has over two dozen hits to her credit including ‘’Tiger Zinda Hai’

Jacqueline Fernandez: The multi-ethnic ‘Murder-2’  gorgeous-sultry lead-actress-danseuse ( ‘Jumme-Ki-Raat’) is a former Sri Lankan beauty-queen and was born in Manama (Bahrain). Her father is a Sri Lankan whereas her mother is of Malaysian descent

Akshay Kumar: Though macho-stud-action-super-star Akshay was born in Amritsar and his original name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, he is unable to cast his vote,  as the social-causes-crusader  holds a Canadian citizenship passport.

Nargis Fakhri:  Having made her debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar, Nrgis was last seen in Banjo. However, the vivacious actress who was born in New York is an American citizen and can't vote in India--- as she's also half Czech and half Pakistani.

Sunny Leone: The voluptuous hot-babe bombshell of Bollywood, lead actress ( movies like ‘Jism 2’ )  and raunchy  item-dancer Sunny Leone ( real name Karenjit Kaur-Vohra)  holds a Canadian citizenship.
