AFTER SAIF ALI KHAN'S HISTORICAL DRAMA, NOW RANVEER SINGH'S SIMMBA SLIPS AWAY FROM R MADHAVAN'S HAND

R Madhavan had to opt out of Rohit Shetty's Simmba following his shoulder surgery after he injured himself in the gym. The actor lost his second big project due to the shoulder injury, earlier he had to even withdraw from joining actor Saif Ali Khan in Navdeep Singh's historical drama, which is heavy on action scenes. Now Tanu Weds Manu actor will not be a part  of Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba, in which he was reportedly going to play the villain.

The actor took to his Twitter account to share the news

Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I’m not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I’m well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost.🙈🙈 https://t.co/9YJBctaCJI

Simmba, directed by Rohit Shetty is inspired by Jr NTR’s Telugu film Temper. In the film, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan would be paired opposite Ranveer Singh. The project is backed by Dharma Productions and the first look of the film presented Ranveer as a cop, Sangram Bhalerao.
